Below is the text of Mr Major’s written Parliamentary Answer on Heating Additions on 17th February 1987.
Mr. Wilson Asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many people in 1984 were in receipt of a heating addition in (a) England, (b) Scotland and (c) Wales; and what was the total expenditure in each country on heating additions.
Mr. Major [pursuant to his reply, 20 January 1987, c. 539]: The information requested about the number of people receiving heating additions in 1984 is as follows:
