Mr. Nicholas Bennett To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give the latest figures for the growth of gross domestic product over the past year.

Mr. Major Real gross domestic product is provisionally estimated to have grown by 5.25 per cent. in the year to the third quarter of 1987.
