Mr. Yeo Asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his latest forecast for the public sector borrowing requirement for 1987-88.

Mr. Major The figure is £3.9 billion, or 1 per cent. of GDP – as published in the “Financial Statement and Budget Report” for 1987-88.
